Kickstart 3.0 was a significant jump from the 2.x era, introducing native support for the A1200's powerful new hardware:
The used a hardware clone of the A1200 (The "AA" chipset). The CD32 shipped with Kickstart 3.1 (v40.60) , not 3.0. However, the CD32 lacks a keyboard and floppy drive.
