Dubbing a film like Shawshank is difficult. The original dialogue is poetic and slow. The Tamil version usually does a solid job, though you may lose some of Morgan Freeman’s iconic narration tone. However, the emotional core—Andy’s escape and Red’s parole—translates beautifully.
