“Through my honor society work, I organized a ‘Research & Fellowships 101’ panel featuring six faculty members and three successful applicants. I saw a gap in how students accessed mentorship, so I built a digital resource folder and one-on-one office hour sign-up system. As a result, 12 members submitted competitive fellowship applications that cycle—up from just 2 the previous year. This work taught me that leadership is about removing barriers, not just earning titles.”
