Bhargavi Rani Anne [ 2024 ]

Annie Besant was a British socialist, theosophist, women's rights activist, writer, and orator who became one of the most prominent figures in Indian history. Though she was Irish by birth, she adopted India as her motherland and fought tirelessly for its freedom from British colonial rule. She is best remembered as the leader of the Home Rule Movement and for her contributions to Indian education.
