Before touching any cables, understand the risks. Ktag clones use counterfeit STM32F105 or F107 microcontrollers. Official updates check for an authentic FTDI chip and will intentionally erase a clone’s firmware if you run the standard KTAG_UPDATER.exe . Follow this sequence exactly
