If the "fixed" aspect involves a patched kernel (common for Hackintoshing), the system may suffer from random kernel panics, sleep issues, or graphics artifacts that do not occur on a genuine, signed Apple image.
You are not alone. Apple officially discontinued Lion (10.7) years ago, and the original download links from the Mac App Store are long dead. The remaining copies floating around the internet are often incomplete, improperly patched, or simply broken.
There are three legitimate (and legal) ways to obtain a 10.7.2 DMG. Note that Apple no longer sells Lion, but if you previously purchased it, it’s in your purchase history.
This is almost always due to an expired security certificate . Apple’s older installers were signed with certificates that have since reached their end-of-life.
