The sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, was released in 2017 and picked up where the first film left off. This time around, Eggsy and his fellow Kingsman agents must join forces with their American counterparts, the Statesman, to take down a powerful tech mogul, Valentine (Julianne Moore). The film introduced new characters, including Statesman agent Gary "King" Lewis (Channing Tatum) and the enigmatic Princess Tilde of Sweden (Hannah John-Kamen).

The sequel ups the ante. After their headquarters are destroyed, the British Kingsman team travels to Kentucky to team up with their American counterpart, "Statesman" (featuring Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry). Julianne Moore plays Poppy, a 1950s-themed drug lord living in the jungle. While less critically adored than the first, it remains a fan favorite for its absurd action sequences.
