The journey began in 1981 in Actopan. A group of young musicians, led by the Vázquez brothers, decided to blend the traditional tropical rhythms of their home with a fresh, pop-inspired energy. They weren't just another cumbia band. They were "Súper," a title they earned through relentless touring and a sound that felt like a permanent summer vacation.
