Porimol Joydhar was arrested on July 6, 2011, and subsequently confessed to the crimes before a magistrate on July 11.

Initially, was raw: shaky cell phone videos recorded by students from the back of the classroom. However, recognizing his demand, Porimol professionalized his output.

It was alleged that Porimol recorded the first assault on his mobile phone and used the footage to blackmail and threaten the victim, leading to a second assault.
